So to answer my 2nd question: If I buy the Gold now, I can download the next updated Gold versions for free.
Once I bought the Gold 0.9.8 version, the email account that I used for the payment transaction became a Gold account of the site. When the next major update arrives, I can just log in that account and download it! Smile
