Issues booting PPSSPP

Noooo idea if I'm posting this in the right section.

I grabbed the emulator in the PPSSPP off of the sites DL section for Windows. I unpacked it, and went to run the program... and it doesn't work. Right at the get-go.

I run WinXP 64bit Pro. That's the only thing I know that could be an issue as to why the thing won't boot.

(If I did post in the wrong section, perhaps a mod will be kind and move the thread into the right forum section. )
