Not the newest PC out there but can efficiently play Patapon w/o any issues(using no rendering buffer).
v0.9.8

[Buffer-less rendering] Breaks into black screen when the intro movie is supposed to end or if You skip it. Can hear the cursor moving but I think there are some logic issues too, not only just graphics.
[Any buffered rendering mode] Green texture borders, slowdown and crackling sound.

No green borders with v0.9.8-135. Sound and slowdown are still an issue.

Still much better than jPcSP.

Now this entry from PPSSPP automated builds feed makes me curious:
