Phantasy Star Portable 2

Hey, I am new to the forums here, and I know that there is an old post detailing how to get past the Title Menu, but all I get is void-black screen after the opening video, and sound+Controls. I enabled Buffered Rendering, and turned off JIT in Dev options. My build is current as of now, and I cannot find anything to limit frame rate other than the 60FPS Check box. I remember having this game but having three stolen PSPs, therefore never finishing it, so I turned to this community, HELP me get past the title screen, I'll give you a cookie.

(OH, I also tried both 32 and 64 Bit, but no change. I'm running on an Acer with 2.1Ghz Duo Core and Windows 8 DX11, 4gbs RAM.)
