test panel for your graphics card change 32bit to 16bit

I can't seem to do this in Win 8, only 32-bit can be selected in AMD catalyst options.

Control Panel \ Appearance and Personalization \ Display \ Screen Resolution,monitor / colors .the problem is not the emulator
