We still need more information like what region of the game is like US or Japanese? Also all versions of PPSSPP have a version number such as the current official release who's number is v0.9.6-2. What is the number on your version? All of that said this sounds like an issue that present in some of the older versions so try the latest dev build found here: http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/
