So I noticed that turning on multi threading in v0.9.6-453-gda97a67 causes freezes in certain cut scenes.
Also is there a preferred build to play this game? Buffered rendering is required to see the background in certain cut scenes and for certain effects but turning it on in this rev causes slowdown with those effects. (Particularly noteworthy is the final battle on Terra's story and the Magic mirror fight.) My specs are i7-2670QM 2.1-3.1 GHz NVIDIA GTX 570M 12 GB RAM By no means is it top of the line these days but it should be more than sufficient so I believe it's a problem with emulation and I'd like to know if there is a specific build that will play through smoothly with buffered rendering on? I was also considering having only one core run it and perhaps that will give a speed up, I'll let you know if that works out. |
