if your friend is really far away you might try going into the PPSSPP.ini file and changing the line "Framerate = 15" to "Framerate = 3". this makes the slow-down from the alternative speed even slow, and it has allowed me to play with people who had up to 400 ping. Also check that you and your friend can use the ping command in hamachi, and that you get a reply back. If you don't recieve a reply back that means one of you have a firewall or something else blocking the connection.

I don't know if it's important but on MHF Unite it works perfect. We can do every single quest and no one got kicked. In 3rd HD Ver. we've followed your tips and i changed the framerate from 15 to 3 and started the alternative speed in the loading screen and in the hamachi i get the reply with pings under 400 mostly it's 150 and we turned off our firewall o: Maybe we're just too stupid :/ To get in detail we're or i'm starting with:
- Changing the local IP to our Hamachi's IP and starting the adhocserver and start the game.
- My friend did the same change the IP to my Hamachi IP4, opens adhocserver and start the game.
- Both of us join to the Onsen hall 1, both are in
- After my friend is ready to start the quest i'm also checking for the quest.
- Loading screen appears and i change the speed to the alternative speed 25% with the changed framerate in the ppsspp.ini
- after a couple of minutes( 2-5 i think) my friend says me that i have broken off the game and when i'm turning in the quest the same happens to him.
