Firstly there's already a thread for this game. So this should have been posted there. The touchpad doesn't work because it was never implemented, only the hardware keys were. Turn on on-screen controls, turn on analog stick, turn off on-screen controls. The analog stick will be in the bottom-left corner of the screen, just move your thumb up there for analog control. As for the menu's looking glitchy, it's because you have buffered rendering off. Turn it on until after you start a mission, then in-game press the menu key, settings, and turn it off again for better speed.
