Its OK man, I know how to do that.. only problem is my PC packed in not long ago so I'm unable to gain root access.
Afaik ascend y300 needs a PC, no other way to root unfortunately

Its extra unfortunate as I bet theirs loads of custom ROMs for this phone, being a very popular handset.
