So the best thing you can do is to find a kernel and do a live overclock or simple cpu overclock, I could advise you on the matter.
You could try lowering resolution of the phone, I know some apps, tried it myself.
What about your other phones, "the Chinese one"
(but your current is also chinese) and galaxy s scl they have better cpus
