Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time

Yo guys, im having a weird problem with the latest build
I've been playing Growlanser 4 for a while on the ppsspp 0.9.1, the game is patched to english and i din't had any problems so far (except i couldn't hear the characters voices)
The fame forced me to grind my ass off so i just decided to use a cheat to multiply exp, since i can't use cheats on 0.9.1 i decided to download a newer build, that's Sacha's 0.9.5
Everything was going awesome, i could hear voices and use cheats, but after a few minutes of play the letters start getting all messed and stuff so there's no really way to know what does it say

Is there any way to fix this? it works cool on 0.9.1 so i guess there's a way to revert this without mess up with the voices
I already tried all other 0.9.5 builds and they're the same
