I tried to revert this change, and tested for 3 days.
The ppsspp crash with atioglxx.dll didn't happen again.

It looks like glDrawRangeElements makes AMD driver unhappy.
I don't know if this change is necessary or not.
But maybe it's better to pass this information to developers.

Thanks for posting your findings, it does seem like the latest AMD OGL drivers in combination with your Radeon HD 7xxx card on Windows XP aren't happy with that change.

The older ones for legacy graphics cards (10.2) doesn't seem to have this issue.
