The red wasn't pure red either, it was shaded dark red. If you do same to white... => gray. In 3rd and 3rd HD this marker is displayed properly, but in FU I don't really find it so terrible, it's clearly visible doesn't matter it's colors because being 3D and animated.
As for me those problems are just cosmetics, nothing game breaking for sure, I prepare meat based on timing with music rather than looking at color since that's pretty much how game teaches to do it as on cheap early game BBQs it's the only way which can work.
