I tried something like that before. If i remember correctly, we had a bunch of problems with special encoding, and needed cases for each "weird" character that ppsspp didn't like. I suppose i could try and implement it in your way, in which the first 9 characters are required, while the rest can be anything.

I may do it eventually, but feel free to do it yourself Everything you need will be in Cwcheat.cpp
