RE: Problem with frame skipping and custom resolution
I have to echo mr.chya's findings.
I'm not seeing any of those issues on 0.9.1-1378 (either 32 or 64 bit) using Frameskipping or 2x forced Rendering Resolution, EXCEPT for the screen flickering when Frameskipping is set to any number higher than Auto (game won't skip frames on Auto for me since my rig can handle it at 100%) Tested scenarios:- 1. Using frameskipping and booting the game = Doesn't crash, just causes the game to flicker for any setting above Auto. 2. Using 2x rendering resolution (just this change) = No screen flashes, minimap still behaves and the textures still look normal to me. Tested using rig in sig and orphis builds. PPSSPP Modern Testbed:- Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz 16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:- Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz 8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 |
