PLEASE HELP! Cant get shin budokai 2 to work on sony xperia z

Hi everyone so im pretty new to this and ive never used ppsspp before and never even knew getting games like this on my phone was even possible. Im also not a big tech guy so i dont really understand a lot of the talk. I just got a sony xperia z yesterday and Im basically trying to make this thread so i can get shin budokai 2 to work on my phone. Ive looked thru some of the forums on here and got really confused so i wanted to post some pics of whats going with me when i use ppsspp and hopefully someone can help me.

So right now when i try to play the game it just stays on a black screen and shows the buttons on the screen but if i hit the back button it goes to this...

now like i said im not a tech guy so i nothing about frames or even the most basic things about this so it would be great if someone could just tell me what to change and then hopefully it will work(assuming that the settings is the problem).

Im sorry if just made everyone mad with this long post. If you could please help that would be great. I see people with the sony xperia s but not the sony xperia z. Id really like to play this. Thanks a lot everyone.

btw, my version of ppsspp is v0.9.1-1-g0a0377a
ive seen videos of people with a different version so i dont know if my version is outdated or not. I just downloaded it yesterday when i got the phone
