It's the same for me on the new (2013) Nexus 7. It seems that the games are rendered at full 1080p resolution if you disable buffered. I even get around 13 FPS in Little Big Planet, which is amazing, but I bet if we could set the resolution to match PSP's original 480x272 it would play very well. The games look absolutely fantastic in Full HD. The one that is the most playable is Loco Roco, doing 50 - 60 FPS on my N7. Looks pretty too, except for the Loco itself, which looks hexagonal instead of round I guess because it was coded to be round at PSP's small resolution originaly and there it looked.. well, round.

I hope you add support to choose resolution and play display size soon.
