Enable "Read Framebuffers to Memory (CPU)", "Multithreaded CPU/GPU" and even disable "Hardware transform" for the best compatibility and less graphic annoyances (open the menu with "Start" if there's flickering to temporarily fixing it).

The game is very playable.
