Temporary Solution for EU ver.(US needs to be tested):
Run PW with JIT off, start a mission, press the back button (or icon) then press "Save State" and exit the game.
Go to settings and enable JIT, then start PW. After PW has started, press the back button (or icon) then press "Load State" and select the most recent one for PW. You will now be playing at a higher speed and you can start another mission with JIT on without it freezing.

If you exit the game and restart without doing this over again, the program will freeze on the mission loading screen.
