USB Joystick Controller for Android

Does someone tried to connect USB joystick to any android device maybe, using an OTG cable? Did it work? If it does, have you installed something? If device is rooted -- Do you placed any android driver (driver.ko) any of your system folders? Have you installed any application? any IME app?

...sorry for a lot of questions..
