As for what I was saying even though gods eater burst is just an enhancement of the original god eater they are still two separate games in that if you bought the original God eater for Japan and then eight months later by the Japanese Gods eater burst when it was released I don't believe you would be able to use the save file from God eater as the two games have separate ID's. So it would also be possible that the original God eater ULJS-00237 may still have issues even if Gods Eater Burst ULJS-00351 is fully playable.

I had no trouble transferring my God Eater save to God Eater Burst. Of course, the saves weren't exactly the same , but all equipment, money, ect... could be transferred from God Eater to God Eater Burst when starting a new savegame.
I don't think this was available in non-Japanese God Eater Burst copies since God Eater wasn't released outside of Japan.
I've tested the original God Eater and it plays fine (or, it has the same problems as God Eater Burst, like the sky not appearing due to the lack of a bezier drawing code in PPSSPP).
