Well, that's almost true. In Yu-Gi-Oh GX: Tag Force (the first episode) it's possible to move, at least when you have to reach the class from the chancellor's room, but it freezes when you summon a card, during the duels.
Oh, about the second issue: i have the same problem (TF3), but just in the free duel mode. The story mode works perfectly.
