but now I have gotten to the hanged man boss after beating strega but after I beat it the game will just freeze randomly in the cutscene after. Also if I try to save the state during the cutscene it will just freeze aswell. The cutscene lasts for ages so I haven't been able to get to a save point without it freezing.

Well I tried it again and the layout has all changed and the problem is gone and the game runs smoother now. So whatever happened I am glad.
