I have googled it and I found that some forums have this bug because of the number of characters you type in a post.
I explain : if you post a message which is too short (it depends on the forum), it will be not counted in your posts counter... Imagine that you have 0 posts in your posts counter, if you write a post which is too short, your counter will stay at 0... And if you delete this post, the counter will do -1, so you will get -1 post

But maybe this is not the cause of the problem for our forum...
