I found a workaround that got it running pretty smooth (on my computer at least). By turning off "buffered rendering", turning off "frame skip", and then playing a song through "Tour" mode rather than "Quickplay", I was able to get through several full songs on expert with full sound, and without any black bars or having the track stop moving/sound quitting. As a side note, my computer has: Windows 8, AMD A10-4600M Quad Core processor, Radeon HD 7660 Graphics, 8GB DIMM RAM
