oh! and it seems like the emulators that are crashing (in my pc) started in the revision: v0.8.1-1158-g51ffdfa ..

v0.8.1-1157 down to 1098 (i guess) is running fine...

Nice work tracking it down.

Hmm.. I've an idea what it could be but I just need to confirm one more thing.

Back up your ppsspp.ini file (copy it somewhere else), then try out this cofiguration that I've pasted below (Just replace the [CPU] and [Graphics] section in your ppsspp.ini file with the code below):-

Code:
[CPU]
Jit = True
FastMemory = True
CPUSpeed = 0
[Graphics]
ShowFPSCounter = 3
DisplayFramebuffer = False
ResolutionScale = 3
BufferedRendering = True
HardwareTransform = True
TextureFiltering = 4
SSAA = False
VBO = False
FrameSkip = 0
FrameRate = 2000
ForceMaxEmulatedFPS = 0
AnisotropyLevel = 4
VertexCache = True
FullScreen = False
StretchToDisplay = False
TrueColor = True
MipMap = False
TexScalingLevel = 1
TexScalingType = 0
TexDeposterize = False
VSyncInterval = False
FullScreenOnLaunch = False
FramebuffersToMem = False
FramebuffersCPUConvert = False
RenderingMode = 1

Does it still crash after that?

(Don't worry about your previous configuration, you've backed it up, so you can restore it anytime you want after we're done troubleshooting)

Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
