And THEN, I got through the first half of the final boss, followed by the quicktime event, and now kratos has disappeared completely from the screen, so I can't finish off the other half of the final boss battle. Any way around this one? You have no idea how frustrating it is for the game to break completely near the VERY end of the game!

Upload a Log of the game from loading the game up on the emulator to the loading of the savestate, then play until you can't any more, close the emulation down, get the Log created & upload it to this game thread or even create a Issue on https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/issue...state=open and upload the Log there as well.
That should at least give the developers an idea of what's causing the problems in this game.
