Enabling Frame Skipping at 3 leads to the screen getting stuck at the opening credits, though judging by the sounds and the response from keys the game itself has actually progressed to the start menu.

My specs are

Processor: Intel® Core™ i3-2310M CPU @ 2.10GHz 2.10GHz

Graphics Card: Intel® HD Graphics Family

RAM: 6.00GB

Windows 7 x64 Home Premium SP1

I don't actually know what these mean... I can't tell if they're inferior to yours.
