Lunar: Silver Star Harmony

So I have tried this game on my Galaxy Note 2 4.1.2 stock, and it gets to the start screen alright, but if I don't press start within a few seconds, it crashes. If I press start right away and get into the game, I can only get through about 2-3 lines of talking between the bad guy and the girl, before the app crashes. I have tried all sorts of settings and sound/no sound, etc, and it crashes no matter what I do. Anyone have any advice/tips on how to get this working?
