How does lock CPU speed works?

It all depends on the game in question, my friend...........experimenting is the way forward here.
Personally I found 150 - 200 frequency is a good medium for the games I have tested.
But not all games like the CPU clock speed being lowered or made higher.

As for explaining what this option does, I am not good at explaining things, so I will leave that to the experts LOL.
