ppsspp windows 8

On your Windows 8, is it a 64 bit machine, as you may need to download the 64 bit latest version of PPSSPP (v0.8.1-549-g8eab028) from http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/index.php
Also right click on the PPSSPPWindows.exe file and select "Run as administrator", as Windows 8 may need you to do that, I am not sure as I use Windows 7 myself, but try it as you have nothing to lose.
Edit: I also just noticed you have no audio showing on your desktop icon, that may mean that your graphics driver is not compatible with Windows 8, go to your graphic card manufacturers website to download a driver specially for Windows 8, and update that.
Hopefully that will solve the audio driver problem at the same time.
