PPSSPP Feature Request Page

[Squall]

When I download a new version, I have to move the memstick folder to the folder of the new version.
It would be better if the PPSSPP_STATE folder were not in memstick folder, newer versions do not support save states from older versions.

I have some comments about the requests.

4#Add support for configuring hotkeys [req. by Done!,xemnas(twice),Squall,Niyawa,cyclonmaster,xZabuzax,vsub_]
12#Make the ESC menu mappable to another key [req. by arg274,xZabuzax(twice)]

18#???Make the analog stick move freely??? [req. by sowonforever09]
23#Add a control layout editor for Android [req. by ppssppftw, hsark, droidforwwver]

These are redundant requests.

9#Add an option to associate *.iso,*.cso,*.prx,*.pbp,*.elf with PPSSPP as for launching games directly [req. by FinalBlast]

Windows can do it easily.

10#Add option to toggle between DInput and XInput with a hotkey [req. by FinalBlast]

What is it for?

64#Add an option to change the aspect ratio (4:3 for PSP?yuck!) [req. by cruiseon09]

Useless and cannot be done, because it would have to cut part of the image or to compress the image horizontally.

22#Add a -10 preset for FPS limit [req. by theFan]

Is it an option to play slowly and make the game easier?

57#Add an option to display the errors inside the emu window (PC) [req. by vsub_]

It is not clear.

9#Add external language pack loading support for the GUI to reduce the PPSSPP executable size(yeah,I know that its very hard as the GUI uses bruteforce)

It is already in the emulator. There is folder called lang.

12#Add region choosing support

What is it for?

24#Add a check for updates option

It is annoying when it is automatic.

35#Add sounds when a button is pressed in ingame MsgBoxes or SaveData Dialog boxes

I had asked it previously in another thread.

37#Add an option to use the PGF fonts of flash0 in ingame MsgBoxes an SaveData Dialogs

Those fonts are terrible.

52#Add support for enabling/disabling CWCHEATS while ingame using a menu without editing the .ini (will be useful for touch-based devices)

Enabling/disabling is already implemented. Now it needs a GUI to insert and remove cheats code.
