RE: Digimon Adventure
The game works fine, except for the slowdowns in certain parts, and also it has this tiny detail on the digimon encyclopedia:
The digimon should be inside of the square n.nU About the slowdowns, I think it is because of how the PSP handles those parts, because I was checking the task manager and even the catalyst application of my graphics card (Radeon 3650 HD) and the CPU usage of PPSSPP during the slowed down parts was around 55% and the RAM used was only 67 MB (and I still had 45% of RAM free which would be more RAM free if I would have closed Firefox which was using 300 MB of RAM XD), and the GPU usage didn't went beyond 12%, so there was no CPU, GPU nor RAM overload during the slowdown parts at all. It was a pretty normal CPU, GPU and RAM usage due to that it is a PSP emulation. Even the GPU temperature didn't went beyond 44°C so it wasn't my PC not being able to handle the game. But then again emulating a console on a PC (or a mobile in the case of the Android version) isn't an easy task, but I can say that PPSSPP is really close to perfection My PC Specs are as follows: 3.2 Ghz Pentium 4 Hyperthreading (HT for short) 2 GB RAM 512 MB Ati Radeon 3650 HD Graphic card Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bits I know is not a newest computer, it is 6 years old, but it works quite fine. The emulator runs Digimon World Re: Digitize in full speed on My PC, it also runs Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep in full speed in most areas, just having a few slowdowns here and there but nothing really serious, so I think my PC still defends itself quite fine ^^ |
