I think the freeze occurs during certain timeframe (about 4-10 minutes after boot), regardless you're in menu or in-game.

So the cause is the autosave feature, not the autoload one? I didn't turn off the autosave because i thought that the problem was related to loading rather than autosaving. Still I don't get why that freeze occur, but regardless, the random freeze is a major concern to worry about, since it's a common issue shared with different games (well at least with the workaround of the autosave you posted above).

EDIT: I tried disabling the autosave feature, but every time the game tries to load a savedata the freeze occurs.
