I have the same (crash after bandai logo), using the 0.8.1 build and the ULUS10518 rom, european version wont even show bandai logo, and japanese version goes to a black screen after filling in your name.

EDIT: Get an error message when trying to shut down japanese after black screen, it says: "Wait for emuthread timed out! Sad please alert developers to possible deadlock or infinite loop in emuthread."

So consider yourself alerted Wink
