Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions

I'm curious how you all are seeing anything but a black screen in v0.7.6-1490-ge6fb1b2 through v0.8.

The Squaresoft and Ivalice Alliance logos display correctly, as does the opening movie, but the title screen and every screen after is nothing but black. Audio is working fine, but the screen is black. Please tell me this isn't more 'AMD cards are bad and you should feel bad' crap. I lament every day, for many and varied reasons, having an AMD card. -.-

Edit: Turning off mipmapping fixed this, too. Good to know that's an option to leave off.
