EDIT: what patch exactly are you using? I'm using The latest v1.0.12.

I'm not sure, since I patched the game years ago when it was out. I kept the ISO until now. Most likely, if the latest patch is old, then I have it.

Well all i can guess is that the android version just isn't compatible with the patch. If you are using a old patch that could be the problem as it caused quite a few freezes/crashes.

The only thing i would advise now is to get your hands on an ISO with the latest patch (Can't really help you there ) and test that, if it doesn't work it's most likely just not gonna work on android.

If you have a PC capable of running PPSSPP i would suggest trying that first before anything to confirm it's the game. (Obviously if it works it just the Android's build at fault)
