your problem, probably is the Win8, is giving some compatibility problems with pc games in general, so the problem is the w8 probably in your case.

with team I meant to the "taptop" cpu intel x... amd config etc kouta? win version? and you tried to run as administrator?

edit ok sorry, no see the other post from kouta with the link, mm atom a ion soc, could this be the compatibility issue with atom? instructions set maybe?
