0.7.6 - Release thread

I have an Intel core i5 m430 (2.27Ghz) with an ATI Mobility Radeon 5650, 4GB of RAM and plenty of space on the HD and I'm on Windows 7 (64bit), yes it a laptop (stating the obvious =P). I have the latest drivers. I searched for a few ways to correct the problem, involving disabling DEP, but that didn't work, well, it did something, now I get an APPCRASH error instead of the BEX error.
