Heres what I think. This type of UI would be very nice for devices with physical buttons like an Xperia Play but even for most devices it would actually make it harder to use, not just on touch screen devices but for windows.

What we could do is add support to load the official XMB. Obviously this cant be supplied with PPSSPP but having the ability to load the flash0 which users can rip from their real PSP's would be a nice feature. (even though its kinda pointless.)
