This sounds like a compatibility issue rather than a hardware problem. PPSSPP should run well on the S7 Edge, but early Marshmallow versions had GPU driver bugs. Try updating PPSSPP to the latest build, resetting settings to default, and switching the graphics backend (Vulkan/OpenGL stickman clash). If it still crashes, it’s likely an Android/driver issue rather than your phone’s performance.
