Alternative speed not working for me

Thank you [Unknown], that tip of setting UnthrottlingMode to SKIP_FLIP solved the problem for me.

No matter what I tried the Unlimited speed simply wasn't working. Even when the emulator marked 0% the games just kept running at normal speed even after disabling VSync on my NVIDIA Control Panel (I force enable it globally because screen tearing ruins my mood when playing videogames.)

Lo and behold, I applied the change and now the Fast Forward is working like it should. Seriously thanks!
