How to install title updates on PPSSPP?

Hello guys. Your method is correct. But there is another alternative methog usin Iso Tools homebrew, which I just tested on latest build.

I have a copy of LittleBigPlanet, which has an update v2.05 on PSN. You have two options:

- Extract pkg update using console.
- Decrypt and extract PKG with PSNPKGDecryptor&Extractor for Windows.

You will have a folder with Disc Serial (in my case UCES01264) with PBOOT.PBP and other files. Now you have two ways to load the game with update applied:

- Copy the update folder to \ppsspp\memstick\PSP\GAME. PPSSPP will load PBOOT.PBP. I'm not 100% sure because this game doesn't prompt anything about the game version after loading the game. But I can confirm with the debuglog that, at least, PPSSPP found PBOOT.PBP.
- Use Iso Tool to patch ISO file with the update. This will add the update directly to the ISO file. I checked with UMDGen after applying the patch you will see on UMD Properties tab a new label APP_VER in this case with text 02.05. There is also a new label PBOOT_TITLE with text LittleBigPlanet... Update.

After reading posts in this forum about Iso Tool, I guess is mandatory that all content (ISO and Updates) should be decrypted to work with Iso Tool in PPSSPP. Maybe devs could confirm this.

P.S.: For any reason, patched ISO is not working. Checking with UMDGEN the patched eboot size has a negative value, resulting in a corrupted iso. Maybe Iso Tools is not 100% supported by PPSSPP.

But I can confirm with debug log that PPSSPP find the PBOOT.PBP update, working with iso and chd games. At least for one game: LittleBitPlanet v2.05. It's not working with Blood Bowl v2.01 or SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3 v1.10.

Executing LittleBigPlanet I can see this line in the debuglog:
00:29:497 08C12774 fio D[SCEIO]: HLE\sceIo.cpp:2535 1=sceIoDread(501, 091102e0): PBOOT.PBP

But with other games I can't see any related with pboot.pbp at all.
