Go to "Settings", then "System". After that, scroll down and unmark "Fast Memory (unstable). That should do the trick. I really don't know why the dev didn't disable this option in this specific game to fix this problem yet, even though we're already in 2025. It's been like this for years. I also noticed some black textures when you go to the Sunken City (Atlantis, when you return there.). It happened twice in different scenarios. I think that's the only issues this game have. I tried all the backends and I'm not using any hacks or enhancements, native hardware resolution and all that stuff.
