PPSSPP is an open source project. Those doesn't work like that, there's always more work than people to do that work.

Imagine there's like 1000 issues, each of them being the most important thing ever to few people and 1 developer actively using their free time to implement and fix things. Before 10 issues gets solved, 20 new ones will arise and the developer has to prioritize things that worked before and got broken as well as things that seriously affect large number of users and among those will only do stuff within his speciality or interest.

As you can tell from such view, a support for a platform specific function affecting very few games has also a very little chance to be of interest of any dev that actually cares about the project as a whole and pretty much zero interest of devs from different platforms and might not happen until a developer from that platform strongly interested in affected games will put their own time and effort into writing such feature. This might be next week or year later or even never.

That's why if you really want something done within open source projects and lack the patience, learn programming and do it yourself.
