PPSSPP Buttons Not Working

I was remapping buttons for one of the games i was playing, don't know what i configured but it somehow made it to where the accept and back buttons of the PPSSPP menu aren't mapped to anything. The D-Pad and the analog stick work however. I tried to remap the buttons by default, but i wasn't able to access the menus because the accept button obviously doesn't work. However, something strange i noticed was that when i loaded a save state for one of the games, everything worked normally... so from that save state, i tried to restore PPSSPP to its default settings, and then quit the game back into the menu, but the change did not work at all... any solution?
