Help with Pangya: Fantasy Golf - Crashing at Launch

I was running into that same case you are having. IDK if you have resolved your problem with this game. Took me a fair bit of system settings tinkering. I currently have that game working on my phone (Google Pixel 6 Pro). hopefully this could work for you also.

Go to 'settings' in the main menu of the emulator
click on 'system'
scroll down a little bit until you see "Emulation"
when you do. Look for "I/O timing method"
Change it to "Simulate UMD delays"
Go back and test Pangya.

That should resolve the start up crash. I haven't currently run into any problems yet after that change.

Other settings is up to you. It works on Vulkan (I am currently using) and OpenGL. My settings for Graphics is Auto (1:1). display is (Auto). Full Screen

I just got the nostalgia for Pangya again and didn't want to dig out my PSP out of storage. have fun with the display control unless you pair a BT controller. I am using PS4 controller to play.
