PSP Corrupted Save working on PPSSPP

Hey all,

So to get to it, I made the mistake of editing my Save Data for Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, just to change the username. Unfortunately, due to the biggest error being making no backup, I ended up corrupting it with no way to recover. That was until I dragged the save data into PPSSPP, lo and behold, it's working, albeit, with a dot at the end of the username now and still being corrupted on the PSP GO console. I wanted to ask if anyone's able to help walk me through this or look through the param.sfo to see what they can do about it.
