If you would google for this game before buying it, you would know that the english localisation was an awful mess. Not only they removed the voices, badly translated the text, they also broke the game significantly to some people, later patched that to break the game in different way. Either way it's not an emulation issue, some parts of the game are just broken, I recall non-patched game working fine for me, but I never used some menus at certain screens, after updating it started crashing in different places and I would never recommend this game to anyone, at least the english version which seems that was never fully fixed and would break on real hardware as well.
